Arapahoe Basin Children's Skiing and Beginner Skiing
Arapahoe Basin is not a beginner skiing area. However, this is a popular ski area among locals who have children and there is a small amount of beginner ski terrain at A-Basin that is designed for young skiers and riders.
The photo at the top of this page shows the Molly Hogan lift and the beginner ski terrain that is located underneath of the lift. This area is only a few steps away from the parking lot. In the photo below you can see the Molly Hogan surface carpet that is used to get children and beginners to the top of the beginner ski slope.
Beginner skiers can also ride the new Black Mountain Express lift. This chairlift will allow guests to access several hundred vertical feet of shallow beginner ski terrain. Check out the Arapahoe Basin Trail Map to see where all of the easiest ski terrain is located.
