Little Nell
The Little Nell is a luxurious five star hotel located at the base of Ajax Mountain next to the gondola. This is one of the best ski in ski out hotels in Aspen. The Little Nell has an outdoor heated pool and hot tub as well as a small fitness center. While the hotel doesn't have a traditional spa, they offer massages either in your room or in a massage room located in the fitness center.
Hotel Jerome
The Hotel Jerome is one of the oldest hotels in aspen and it is located on the corner of Main Street and Mill Street. In the summer, the hotel has a beautiful patio where it serves food and drinks. The Hotel Jerome also features an outdoor pool and hot tub. The J-Bar and Library are great spots to hang out within the hotel for a bite to eat.
The Gant
These condominiums are located approx. 5-7 minutes away from the gondola in a setting that is just outside of the busy part of the city. Service here is always exceptional. There is no restaurant on the property here, but The Gant is still consistently found among the top-rated places to stay in Aspen.
The Sky Hotel
This hotel is located 1 block from the base of Aspen Mountain. This is one of the only pet friendly hotels in Aspen. Cats and Dogs are allowed here and the Sky Hotel even offers a room package that includes a dog bed and dog dishes. The sun deck and outdoor hot tubs face Aspen Mountain so that you can enjoy the view after a day of skiing. This Aspen hotel also has a fitness center, business center with workstation, onsite ski rentals, ski storage and boot dryers.
Independence Square Hotel
If you are looking for a place to stay in downtown Aspen but you don't want to pay for a 5-star luxury hotel, this is one of the best options for you. This hotel has 25 guest rooms and it sits in an ideal location that allows guest to walk to the mountain in less than 5 minutes. The transportation center and pedestrian mall are both right outside of the front door the the Ind. Square Hotel. Highlights here include a rooftop hot tub.
Limelight Lodge
Recently remodeled; the Limelight Lodge offers large rooms within one block from the town of Aspen. The lodge is known for having a great breakfast, happy hour snacks, and a comfy lobby that is complete with a fireplace that never seems to go out. There are outdoor hot tubs, a pool and a small fitness center. You can easily walk to the slopes from this hotel.
Aspen Meadows Resort
Located just outside of Aspen, this resort has gorgeous grounds and golf carts to shuttle you between the lodge and rooms. The Aspen Meadows Resort is home to the Aspen Institute and it has several tennis courts that are open in the Summer. There is a shuttle service to transport guests into Aspen that runs every half hour and an airport shuttle.
Hyatt Grand Aspen
The Hyatt is located one block from the gondola, right next to the winter ice rink. This hotel offers spacious residences, hotel suites, as well as regular guest rooms. The Grand Hyatt is immaculately decorated with leather chairs, fire places and amazing views of Ajax Mountain. The Hyatt Grand Aspen's staff is very friendly and offers excellent service.
St. Regis Hotel
The St. Regis. Hotel is located in the City of Aspen near the ice skating rink and base of the ski mountain. Guests at the St. Regis only have to walk a couple of blocks in order to access the gondola and ski slopes. The hotel has the best spa in town; Remede. This spa features an indoor hot tub "cave" that is complete with waterfalls. There are also several outdoor hot tubs and a pool.
