Crested Butte Terrain
Crested Butte is known for it's extreme terrain variety and steep trails. This is a frequent stop on the Freeskiing circuit because of it's cliffs and difficult terrain. In addition to the North Face, Spellbound Bowl and Phoenix Bowls, Crested Butte has an area called the Teocalli Bowl with some of the most extreme terrain that you will find in Colorado.
There is also lots of green circle and blue square ski trails on the lower portion of the mountain. There is a terrain park and superpipe as well, and this makes Crested Butte a great all around ski resort as well as an awesome ski resort for experts.
