Where to Eat in Crested Butte

Timberline Restaurant

This restaurant is located in downtown Crested Butte and this is a great bar/restaurant to eat at while on vacation. Entrees will cost you around $20 here. There is a bar menu that will keep your stomach full for $5-$10. There is also a few entrees that include Rocky Mountain Trout, Hangar Steak, Gunnison Beef Burger and Pork Loin. There is even a kid's menu so feel free to bring your family to dinner here.

 

The Secret Stash Pizza

This is the most popular place to get a slice of pizza in Crested Butte. This restaurant has plenty of different types of pizza, but it's more than just a pizza joint. The Secret Stash also has a lounge/galleria and groove emporium. This is also a great place to come for mixed drinks and cocktails. There is a long list of popular drinks and local concauctions available here.

Marchitelli's Gourmet Noodle

This is a family owned restaurant and the food and service here is nothing less that what you would expect. There is some great Italian food on the menu here - seafood, Chicken and plenty of meat as well. Be sure not to miss the Elk at the bottom of the menu. You can eat here for $20 and $30 will cover just about anything on the menu.

This is a great place to go for sauces. You can order their sauces by phone or just buy some while you are eating in the restaurant.

Dogwood Cocktail Cabin

This pub is located just off of Elk Ave. on 3rd Street. This is a great place to stop after a long day of Skiing at Crested Butte. There is no kid's menu here so leave the family at home. This is an apres ski pub in every sense of the term.

Django's Restaurant

Django's serves food that is reminiscent of Southern European dining. You will find this restaurant is the Mountaineer Square area just as you are leaving the base of the mountain. This restaurant takes pride in its wine list and you'll find close to 100 wines on the menu.

Soupcon Restaurant

This is a bistro with French and American heritage. There are some great appetizers on the menu like lobster and shrimp. Entrees include some wonderful meats like Duck, Elk Tenderloin, and a seared Colorado Rack of Lamb. Most of the entrees will cost around $40. The desert and wine menus have about 20 items each and most are under $20.

The Soupcon is located on Elk Avenue in Crested Butte. This is within walking distance of most of the lodging in downtown Crested Butte.
