Closest Ski Resorts to Denver

As you leave the city of Denver and head into the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, one of the first ski area turnoffs that you will see is for Winter Park. This route will take you over Berthoud Pass and to the Winter Park ski resort.

Next you will see the Loveland Ski Area which is right next to I-70 and highly visible from I-70. You will see this ski resort only just before you head through the Eisenhower Tunnel and through the continental divide by Loveland Pass. Next you will enter Summit County and all of the ski resorts that you could hope for.The best ski resorts in the county include Arapahoe Basin and the Keystone Ski Resort.
