Amtrak in Denver
Amtrak operates one of the longest railroad routes in the United States. This route is called the California Zephyr Route and Denver is one of the main stops on this route. Amtrak trains will stop in Union station; one of the main transportation hubs in Denver.
Free MallRide Buses (16th street only)
The MallRide bus system operates on 16th street in downtown Denver. Visitors can ride the bus for free between Union Station and the Civic Center. This will give you access to some of the most popular attractions in the Denver metro area.
The bus system operates between 5 a.m. and 1:35 am on weekdays. The bus routes will begin at 7 a.m. on Sunday and selected Holidays. There is no cost for using the MallRide bus and this bus will stop at each street corner. All of these buses are wheelchair accessible.
Public Bus Transpotation
The Denver public bus system operates in a variety of capacities including local and regional routes throughout the Denver metro area. This bus system has more than 10,000 bus stops and 80 park and ride locations.
Bus fares will range between $2 and $4.50 depending on where you need to go.
Skyride Bus Transportation
The Skyride system uses a series of routes that will bring travelers to the Denver International Airport from various points within the city. Light Rail Transportation in Denver
This rail system operates 5 lines that run from suburban Denver into the downtown area.
