This ski is designed to be useful everywhere on the mountain. The ARV excels in the terrain park, but the sidecut and construction enables the ski to perform well in all conditions and on all different types of terrain. The ski will work on groomers, it will work in powder, and it will even be a great ski when making big GS turns down the face of the mountain.
Armada ARV Construction and Ski Materials
The Armada ARV uses Armada's signature 50/50 base material construction. This is more durable than some of the other base materials that Armada uses, and this base requires less maintenance than the comp or race bases.
This ski also uses the 2.5 Impact Edge. This edge construction is ultra durable and this lets the ski withstand rails and abuse in the terrain park.
This ski remains virtually unchanged from last year's model. The most common complaint about this ski is that the tip is too soft.
