If you only want to have 1 ski in your arsenal, this is a great ski to consider buying. The ski is ideal for big mountain skiing and carving large radius turns. The Pro Rider is wide enough under foot (100 mm) to function in powder and the wide platform helps to stabilize the ski at high speeds.
What's New About the Pro Rider in 09/10?
The ski is wider this year (3 mm wider) and the tip is softer. Making the ski wider helps it to float through powder as well as to add stability when making big turns down steep slopes. With the addition of a softer tip, skiers can expect the 2010 Pro Rider model to perform better at low speeds for short radius turns, moguls, and skiing around the terrain park.
Dynastar Legend Pro Rider Materials
The Legend Pro Rider has a wood core with titanium layers on each side. This helps to add stiffness to the ski and enables it to perform well at high speeds. The wood core has been milled in the center to reduce the weight of the ski. The sandwich construction of the ski also adds to its responsiveness.
