Threshold Sunglass Frame and Materials
The Threshold glasses utilize a special material called Hydrophillic Megol rubber to help keep the sunglasses in place during your workout. This material is used for the nose piece as well as the arm pads that go behind the ears of the user. This type of rubber retains most of its friction when it is wet so that these sport glasses can be used easily during a tough workout.
The Threshold sunglasses use a Grilmid TR 90 frame - this utilizes a lightweight nylon material that is strong but flexible.
The frame is designed to wrap tightly around an athlete's face. This helps eliminate the gaps that can allow light and wind to travel around the edges of your sunglasses.
