Beginner Ski Trails at Steamboat
Most of the easiest beginner ski terrain at Steamboat is located right around the base of the mountain. The Christie chair lift has a mid-station that will drop skiers off at the top of this area. You can also use the Preview Chairlift if you only want to access the easiest part of the mountain. The gondola and Christie III Chairlift will take you above the headwall and away from this area of the mountain. You can see the base area in the photos below.
