About Telluride

Telluride was born as a mining town and you can still see this in the town today. Butch Cassidy robbed his first bank here and now Telluride is home to a different kind of mountain rebel. Each year this mountain hosts a freeskiing competition where the best extreme skiers battle it out on the cliffs and chutes of Telluride. This is one of the best expert ski resorts in Colorado and there is enough tough ski terrain here to make even the best skiers think twice.
